How to Install Simple Voice Chat?

This article will show you how to install Simple Voice Chat or similar mod/plugin to your Minecraft Server.

ℹ️

Please make sure to have the correct server / plugin version installed before installing. As Voice Chats are available for different versions!

How to Install Simple Voice Chat?

  1. Head over to the Panel and stop the server.

  2. Download the Plugin or Mod, depending on your server version.

  3. Navigaate to the "plugins" or "mods" folder of your server.

  4. Upload the plugin or mod into the folder.

  5. Head over to the server's console and start the server to generate the config file.

  6. After the server has started, Navigate to the Network tab and click on "Create Allocation" to generate a new port for Simple Voice Chat. We will use this port for the configuration file.

  1. Open the plugins or mods folder and open the voicechat folder.

  2. You can now find the file "voicechat-server.properties" in the folder. Open it up and scroll to line server-port: 8123. Change this to the port we generated previously.

  3. Save the file and head over to the server's console and restart the server.

  4. Done 🎉. You can now join the server and Simple Voice Chat will be installed. You should be able to access your installed Simple Voice Chat by visiting the site http://yourserverip:yournewport.
